Collaborative Law
Beth Murray is the immediate past President of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals and is a strong advocate of clients navigating a divorce without the aggression and sometimes destructive conflict which emerges in litigation. In divorce work, collaboration is a formal approach where both parties agree to hire lawyers who agree to abide by the rules of collaboration. Although not formalized as in divorce work, business disputes can be resolved through collaboration rather than costly litigation in many cases. We have the skills to navigate these often tough but delicate issues with creative thinking and application of vast experience.
Mediation
Whether it’s a family matter or a business dispute, parties can opt to take their dispute to a Mediation. Unlike a judge or arbitrator, the Mediator makes no decisions for the parties, but is trained to bring parties together to find grounds for settlement. It’s a highly skilled profession and both Beth and Mike Murray are not only advocates but serve as Mediators and strongly support this approach to dispute resolution where appropriate.
